The Cayman Islands Stock Exchange or the CSX is a stock exchange that has its base in Grand Cayman on the Cayman Islands. Starting its operations in July 1997, the CSX is fully owned by the Cayman Islands government. The London Stock Exchange approved the Cayman Stock Exchange in July 1999.

You can get a list of over 1,000 stocks, eurobonds, global depositary receipts and warrants and on the CSX. The chairman of the exchange is Anthony Travers who was the former Senior Partner at Maples and Calder.

Cayman Stock Exchange is located at Elizabethan Square in the business district of George Town. The exchange uses a fully electronic trading platform that the Bloomberg L.P. developed under a joint partnership.

The CSX is the first offshore exchange that joined the Intermarket Surveillance Group in June 2001. Intermarket Surveillance Group is an international group, which comprises 23 North American, European, Australian and Asian stock exchanges.

CSX mainly lists the Cayman Companies.
